The award winning Trinity Players.

Music, comedy and drama at its very best.

Welcome to Trinity Players

Trinity Players is an award-winning amateur theatre society based in Sutton Coldfield, which has been performing high quality shows for nearly 40 years. Formed in 1975 we have grown to become a thriving group that puts on three shows each year. We start with our musical in the spring, followed by a play in late summer/early autumn and a musical entertainment-style production around Christmas time. Please enjoy your journey around our site and if you like what you see feel free to get in touch with us.

Our next production is:

12th - 16th May 2015

Sutton Coldfield Town Hall, Upper Clifton Road, Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands B73 6AB

Winner of eight Tony Awards including Best Musical, and four Laurence Olivier awards including Best New Musical, Hairspray is a big, bouncy bouffant of a musical, piled high with laughter, romance, bright coloured costumes, energetic dance routines and contagious hits such as "Good Morning Baltimore", "You can't Stop The Beat" and many more.

It's 1962 and teenager Tracy Turnblad wants to land a part as a dancer on the Corny Collins TV show....but can she achieve her dream of stardom, fight off the evil Amber for the crown of Miss Hairspray and win the heart of local heartthrob, Link Larkin, whilst taking a stand against racial segregation? For the big girl with the big heart, anything is possible. Hairspray 2015
