The award winning Trinity Players.

Music, comedy and drama at its very best.

Welcome to Trinity Players

Trinity Players is an award-winning amateur theatre society based in Sutton Coldfield, which has been performing high quality shows for over 40 years. Formed in 1975 we have grown to become a thriving group that puts on three shows each year. We start with our musical in the spring, followed by a play in late summer/early autumn and a musical entertainment-style production around Christmas time. Please enjoy your journey around our site and if you like what you see feel free to get in touch with us.

Our next production is:

'Allo 'Allo

14th - 23th September 2017

Sutton Arts Theatre, South Parade, Sutton Coldfield, B72 1QU

Award winning Trinity Players bring to the stage a dazzling adaptation of the classic comedy 'Allo 'Allo.

Based on the hugely successful British television series that ran for seven seasons, this uproarious comedy relates the adventures of a hapless cafe owner, René, in occupied France. You can see all of your favourite TV characters in the flesh, including René's tone-deaf wife Edith, Major-General von Klinkerhoffen and the Gestapo officer Herr Flick!

René and his wife Edith have stashed a priceless portrait stolen by the Nazis in a sausage in their cellar, where two British airmen are also hiding until the Resistance can repatriate them. Communications with London using the wireless that is disguised as a cockatoo add to the many embarrassments this intrepid proprietor endures in the company of his patrons. News that the Fuhrer is scheduled to visit the town inspires tricksters disguised as Hitler to frequent the cafe. Meanwhile René summons all the wit he can muster to save his cafe and his life.

"Listen very carefully, I will say this only once" - you will revel in the latest stage production of the TV cult comedy classic 'Allo 'Allo! You won't be able to help yourselves. (The Stage) "Good moaning. You stupid woman. Ze flashing knobs. I was just hanging up the knockwurst when I remembered all the happy times we had in 'ere. Yes, it's 'Allo 'Allo! and it is coming back." (The Guardian)

This is a truly delightful comedy. So join us for what promises to be a truly entertaining show.
