Welcome to Trinity Players
Trinity Players is an award-winning amateur theatre society
based in Sutton Coldfield, which has been performing high
quality shows for over 30 years. Formed in 1975 we have grown to
become a thriving group that puts on three shows each year. We
start with our musical in the spring, followed by a play in late
autumn and a musical entertainment-style production around
Christmas time. Please enjoy your journey around our site and if
you like what you see feel free to get in touch with us.

One of the most popular musicals of all time, The Sound of Music
is based on the true story of the Von Trapp family singers and
tells the story of the developing bond of friendship and love
that blossoms between a young nun called Maria and Captain Von
Trapp against the backdrop of the German occupation of Austria.
Popularised by Andrew Lloyd Webber's 'How
Do You Solve a Problem like Maria' this
spectacular show will thrill audiences with favourites like
'Maria', 'Do-Re-Me', 'My Favourite Things', 'Edelweiss' and of
course the classic anthem 'Climb Every Mountain'.
